After working for a short period of time I quickly assumed multiple roles such as Material Handler, Laser Engraver, Account Specialist, Tumbler, and many others. I worked as hard as I could and volunteered for EVERYTHING and ANYTHING I could do to better Legacy Touch. I got hired on at Legacy Touch as Material Handler and was very eager to work for a new and growing company. I'm going to explain my story so everyone knows this is not a "FAKE REVIEW". But for a company of 50 employees, it is absolutely amazing. Is the benefits package equal to Cerner? Nope. Are they solidly in the median range? Absolutely. Is Legacy Touch at the top of the pay scale? No. Don't expect to add 30% to your salary when it comes time to convert. However, my experience as a contract-to-hire employee is that the contract rate going in is generally going to be pretty close to what you can expect when converting to a full-time, regular employee. I have no idea who the previous reviewers are or what their circumstances were, so I can't speak to their experience. But I have personally witnessed each member of the executive team stand firm on some decisions and be convinced - by a variety of different folks - to change course on others. Do all of my suggestions get implemented? Of course not. I can walk into the office of any of the VP's on any given day and they are happy to take 5 minutes to answer a question, talk through an issue or hear a suggestion. The executive team at Legacy Touch is available, approachable and committed to the success of not just the company, but the employees as well. I could keep going and going, but the point is, this is the kind of place you want to come to work. Above all, the culture at Legacy Touch is a caring culture - where new employees are personally welcomed by the CEO where managers not only understand that "life happens" but make sure you're doing ok where employees are invited to "spin the wheel" and take home prizes, just because where unexpected cost savings are immediately reinvested in upgrading the healthcare package and other employee benefits where taking time to mingle, chat and get to know the other employees isn't just encouraged, it's actually scheduled…and snacks are provided it's a place where ideas and contributions are both solicited and acknowledged, both privately and publicly. Fun, while at the same time focused on continuing the impressive year over year growth they've experienced. Relaxed, yet everyone there is genuinely invested in making the company better by doing their job well. I've seen my share and the culture at Legacy Touch is as positive and healthy and balanced as any I've come across. The importance of company culture - in my view - cannot be overstated.
